When current owners Dale Morris and Marc Oswald planned for the expansion of Fontanel, they wanted the attractions to blend with the natural setting to encourage guests to connect with nature. That’s exactly what guests will experience during the canopy zip tour; a 90-minute fun-filled exploration of an enchanting forest in the Harpeth River Valley. Whether you’re new or experienced at it, you may choose from a range of heights to satisfy your thirst for adventure. We have zip lines that go up to 85 feet, ranging from 200-700 feet in length. If you crave the ultimate speed thrill, you can ride up to 35 miles per hour with the help of one of our professional tour guides.
The Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater is unlike any music venue around Nashville. This 4,500-seat natural outdoor amphitheater nestled in historic Whites Creek valley features state-of-the-art sound equipment in a cozy wooded setting. The Woods at Fontanel is a must-see (and must-hear!) venue in the greater Nashville area. The venue is also available for outdoor concerts, corporate picnics, 5K runs and other big events.
The Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater is situated on the old estate of country music legend Barbara Mandrell, further rooting the extraordinary venue in music history. The VIP boxes seats are cut out of the hillside, making those lucky enough to occupy a VIP seat feel as if they are in a tree house. With a full-service restaurant, a family-friendly atmosphere, outdoor activities and three plus miles of beautiful trails throughout the property, Fontanel is the hidden gem of the South.
